From the post-card perfect beaches and mountain ranges, to its charging cobblestone streets that are perfect for sipping tea and having baklava.
Istanbul is probably one of the most colorful and lively city I have ever been too and you need to spend at least 4 days in the city in order to get to know the city better. The Old Town is where you can spend the first few days at. Here are the things worth seeing in the old town: Hagia Sofia, the Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace, Basilica Cistern and the Grand Bazaar.
The Blue Mosque is another impressive piece of architectural wonder in Istanbul that is located not too far from Hagia Sophia so be sure to drop by there after you are done with Hagia Sofia. The Grand Bazaar is also a great place to stroll around and get the feel of what it is like to be in a middle-eastern spice market in Istanbul. It is one of the largest covered markets in the world covering 61 streets and has over 4000 shops inside. Also be sure to go up the Galata Tower during sunset on a clear day. This is the best place to see Istanbul from the top.
Being the biggest beach destination of Turkey and definitely the biggest of the people pleaser, Antalya offers ample avenues to the visitors to delve into many activities. From strolling along the beach to adventurous activities
Despite the unrest that the country went through within the last few years with Syria, Turkey is not only a safe destination but also one that I believe everyone should experience once in their life.
For ideal weather, visit during the spring months—the days are long, and the heat hasn’t quite hit yet. Because the temperatures are almost perfect, this is the high season for cities like Istanbul and Cappadocia.
People have lived in this town on a natural harbour in the Turkish Riviera for as long as 5,000 years. Fethiye was once Telmessos, part of ancient Lycia, a confederation of independent city-states. The Blue Flag Ölüdeniz Beach is a crescent of white pebbles, with clear waters a mesmerising shade of turquoise that glows in the sunlight. Lots of things combine to make this place so special.
