Europe

Europe

Architectural masterpieces, beautiful nature, and fantastic culinary diversity.

Europe has so many historical sites to see, unbelievable views to take in, delicious foods to eat, and adventures to be explored. It seems impossible to know where to even begin when it comes to planning a travel adventure here.

Driving around Europe is a dream, roads are generally good unless you get too far off the beaten track and highways connect most countries seamlessly. European travel is also easy by train, the train even goes under the channel to London’s St Pancreas station. On top of this, Europe is popular for river cruises, canal boats, and Mediterranean cruise journeys, stopping at major ports.

The countries in Europe you need to visit.

AlbaniaAlbania was the country I was most looking forward to visiting this summer. It fit my dreams — home to a fascinating culture and some of the most beautiful beaches in Europe, yet a bit of an underdog. A Balkan country I hadn’t visited yet? Sold! From the stunning peaks of the Albanian Alps to the pristine beaches of the Albanian Riviera, we are going to uncover one of the best hidden gems left in Europe together.

France- There’s something magical about France.Home to gourmet food, haute couture, opulent landmarks, and beautiful countrysides, it’s not hard to why it’s one of the most visited countries in the world. When it comes to tourism in France, Paris is at the top of many travellers’ bucket lists and for a good reason. The city is full of incredible history, architecture, art, charm, and distinct cuisine. Whether you have a day, a week, or a month to explore, Paris is a travel experience in its own.

Unlike some other travel destinations in Europe, English is not as widely spoken in France. They are very proud to speak French, which is completely understandable. Before you arrive in France, come prepared with a few French phrases under your belt!

Greece - Where historic ruins, volcanic cliffs, and friendly locals meet the blue Mediterranean Sea. There are some islands that are famous for their beaches and natural features, while others have a significant nightlife scene or strong cultural traditions.

Few places manage to capture the world's imagination quite like Greece, a land of sun-kissed coastlines, tranquil whitewashed villages, lively seaside towns, and well-preserved ancient sites. One of the world's top tourist destinations since ancient times, the country draws nearly 20 million visitors each year. On your Greece holiday you can explore the old mainland on foot and then hop aboard a guided boat or ferry tour to discover the islands' soft sand and pristine waters. In my opinion, the best time to travel to Greece is between April and May. The weather is perfect for outdoor adventures, and you’ll have the Greek Islands to yourself before the summer crowds arrive.

Itlay -  More than pizza, pasta and gelato!  Impressive mountains, beaches, world famous museums and architecture.  Colorful traditional houses in the Old town port of Procida island, Naples, Italy. Itlay as captivated the hearts of many (and for good reason). What’s not to love about endless amounts of pasta, glasses upon glasses of wine, historical sites everywhere you turn, colorful architecture, and turquoise beaches?

Spain - A colourful country known for its relaxed lifestyle, vibrant nightlife, excellent food, and world-famous folklore and festivals, Spain boasts a huge number of World Heritage Sites and other spectacular places to visit. It also deserves its reputation as a beach vacation destination, with the western edge of the Mediterranean Sea home to some of the world's top spots for sun and sand. But a tour of Spain can yield much more than just beautiful shores: the landscapes here are as diverse as its people, ranging from lush meadows and snowy mountains to huge marshes and sprawling deserts. Spain's countryside is full of unspoiled villages of timeless beauty and old-world charm, as well as vast and varied nature preserves.

Switzerland - No matter where you look in Switzerland, you’ll be in awe of its beauty.

Whether you’re visiting Switzerland in summer or winter, you’ll find no end to outdoor activities. The towering Alps are covered in snow no matter what season, along with crystal-clear lakes, quaint little villages, crystal clear lakes, and rolling hills. Plus, a whole lot of chocolate and cheese!

If you are a snow lover December – March is the perfect time to visit Switzerland. With snowfall at its peak and views of spotless white around this is the time that attracts the tourists the most. April – May is the low season with not too many ski resorts around but all the hiking trails are opened and this is the perfect time for solo travellers and backpackers to explore! July – September is the summer season in Switzerland and an ideal time for outdoor activities. Further, October – November is the low season for tourism! Make your choice, Switzerland is a year-round destination.

Turkey - From the post-card perfect beaches and mountain ranges, to its charging cobblestone streets that are perfect for sipping tea and having baklava. Istanbul is probably one of the most colourful and lively city I have ever been too and you need to spend at least 4 days in the city in order to get to know the city better. The Old Town is where you can spend the first few days at. Here are the things worth seeing in the old town: Hagia Sofia, the Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace, Basilica Cistern and the Grand Bazaar.
